We specialise in microsuction, the safest and most effective method for earwax removal. We also offer ear irrigation for clients with soft wax when appropriate.

How long does an earwax removal appointment take?

Most appointments take around 30 minutes for both ears, with the actual removal process usually completed in 5–10 minutes per ear.

Should I use ear drops before my appointment?

We recommend using olive oil or Earol drops for 3–5 days before your appointment to soften the wax, especially if it's dry or hard. This makes removal easier and more comfortable.

What if there’s no earwax present during my visit?

If there’s no earwax to remove, you’ll only be charged a £30 consultation fee, not the full service price.

Is earwax removal painful?

No, our procedures are designed to be quick, comfortable, and pain-free. Microsuction is gentle and does not use water, making it suitable for sensitive ears.

What happens if my earwax cannot be removed in one session?

If we can’t remove all the wax in one appointment, we offer a free follow-up visit within a month to ensure your ears are fully clear.

What should I do after earwax removal?

Your ears may feel sensitive for a few hours after treatment. Avoid getting water in your ears for 24 hours and do not insert cotton buds or other objects into your ear canal.

Yes, microsuction is safe and gentle for children aged 4 and above, provided they can sit still and follow instructions during the procedure.

Can I bring my child for earwax removal?

Absolutely. We regularly treat children at both clinics and during home visits. Our clinicians are experienced in making children feel comfortable throughout the appointment.
